A keen stare from a Mluwati Concession wild dog… and potentially bad news for any prey species it may have spotted. Photographer Alistair Blevins has perfectly captured the gleam in the dog’s eye. 
After the hard work of the hunt – and eating – time to relax for this lioness. But even with a full belly and no apparent cares in the world, she’s still watchful.
Not everybody enjoys Monday mornings… although a good yawn can also be an opportunity to show off your teeth, and remind everyone why you’re not to be trifled with!
